EL-CO S.A. has more than 20 years of experiece in producing low voltage equipment. The main products are ceramic lampholders for which EL-CO is the biggest manufacturer in Romania. We do not only assemble these products but also produce all components for them, which mean ceramic and metal items. In order to achieve this, EL-CO has facilities for manufacturing ceramic powder as well as facilities for machining molds for pressing ceramic items.
Development, testing, production and distribution are carried out from one central base that covers 35.000 m2. Highly qualified personel and efficient communication between the 750 employees guarantees that our products reach the highest standards.
As a result of the efforts to improve products quality in 1999 EL-CO was certified ISO 9001. Most of our products have VDE, CB, UL and CSA approvals.
In 1999 EL-CO became a private company part of the group DELTA from Canada.
EL-CO's products are sold in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.
